White House Reorganizes Citizen Services with P3

The White House is taking a page from it’s own book by looking to public-private partnerships to help provide citizen services more efficiently.

The Office of Management and Budget recently released a proposal announcing the organization’s desire to create a P3 to streamline delivery of services to citizens. Through the Government Effectiveness Advanced Research Center (GEAR), nonprofits, researchers, private companies and academic institutions will launch a prototype to keep up with changing technology in the 21St Century.

Called to GEAR Center, the new prototype will welcome new industry collaborations that will utilize big data to address federal workforce requirements through grant and procurement methods.
